I offer dog walking services throughout the North London area.
I am an experienced dog handler and have worked with dogs of all sizes, energy levels and tempraments. Each dog I walk is treated individually and appropriately depending on their breed, age, needs and personality. I believe that your dog should be well looked after at every point in his adventure and so we never walk more than six dogs per experienced handler to ensure the best experience for your pet.

My belief is that dogs are happier when exercised and socialised so I let the pack run around together off-lead in a safe area. This is great fun for the dogs, and is extremely useful for calming more energetic dogs and those who are easily excitable. By giving them a good run in a controlled environment the dogs benefit hugely with an outlet to let off all of that excess energy that can get in the way of a calm home life!
The vast majority of dogs, if properly introduced, will fit in very quickly with the pack without any aggression, but squabbles can occur and some dogs do take a dislike to one another. We seldom have serious problems: I always break up possible fights early and do not mix potential troublemakers but owners should take note that there is a small risk of injury in any mixed group.
Similarly, dogs stay together and very few leave an established pack but occasionally there is a wanderer. All dogs are tagged and I keep a close eye on them but there is always the danger of one of them straying. I make every effort to find them and have not lost one yet but persistent offenders have been evicted and owners should not send out a dog that is anti-social or refuses to return to a call.
As a former owner of a boarding kennel and someone experienced in keeping large breed dogs, you can be sure that your dog, whatever size and temperament, will be well-cared for with me. In the unlikely event that an incident does occur, I will do everything possible to remedy the situation. While out with my pack, your dog is fully insured against loss or accident. We never walk more than six dogs per handler and every dog is cared for within the group (in groups of over six dogs multiple handlers will be used to maintain our maximum ratio).
With this in mind, there are some dogs that I cannot include. For the safety of all the dogs in the pack, I cannot take on aggressive or overly-dominant personalities. Un-neutered dogs can also cause difficulties but are not automatically excluded. Please contact me to discuss.
A Big Walkies adventure for your dog costs only £15 for an hour and a half of exercise and fun with the pack.

We offer different types of walk depending on the needs of your dog. We can if required provide typical dog walker "on lead/off lead" walks to allow your dog to relieve him/herself and get the exercise they require to keep them calm throughout the day. Please contact me for further details. A typical walk will last one hour for your dog and we never take more than six dogs out at any one time, the dog walking can include both on-lead and off-lead exercise for your dog.

If your dog needs a bit longer away from your home while you are at work or busy, I can take him along with my own "pack" for the entire day. Based in Muswell Hill, North London, the dogs are treated as part of my extended doggie family. Doggie Day Care is the ideal compromise for owning a dog when you are away from home for long periods of time and don't want to leave your dog alone.
Typically this is between 10am and 4pm although if you have different needs then please contact me to discuss. Dogs in my care are well looked after, happy, and well exercised. To spend the whole day in a balanced "doggy" environment in my experience brings out the best in a dog's life, it is natural and instinctive for your dog, and means you have a tired and well balanced dog to come home to in the evenings.
Doggie Day Care in North London costs £20 per day.

If you require your dog to be cared for over even longer periods of time I offer dog boarding within my home. I have previously run boarding kennels and truely believe that this is the nicest way to keep your dog happy if you are away for periods of time. Dogs are welcomed carefully into my home and treated as one of the family. Dogs I board generally integrate quickly into the pack, and move and sleep (often in one big hairy pile) as one.
Dogs boarded with me also enjoy the full dog walking experience offered to my other clients on a daily basis and are of course fully insured during their stay with me. I accept friendly and well socialised dogs to reduce the trauma on the pack, if you would like to find out more then please get in touch and we can organise a walk for them with the pack to check their compatibility.
I believe that dogs deserve a comfortable and inspiring environment to stay contented and through using a family environment for their boarding requirements they can stay happy, exercised and well cared for as long as is needed.
Contact me to discuss your Dog Boarding needs in North London. Dog Boarding costs £25 for the the first 3 days, and then £20 for each subsequent day required.
